Double chocolate brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3/4 c
- margarine - 1/3 c
- semi-sweet chocolate morsels - 12 oz
How to make double chocolate brownies:
Preheat oven to 325°. In medium bowl, combine margarine, sugar and water; put in microwave until margarine melts. Add 1/2 of chocolate morsels and stir until melted; add vanilla. Add eggs 1 at a time and beat well. In small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Gradually add this to ingredients in medium bowl. Stir in remaining morsels and nuts; mix well. Spread in greased 9-inch square pan. Bake 30 minutes; cool and cut into squares. Doubles easily. If using 9 x 13-inch pan, add 5 to 8 minutes cooking time.
