- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- jar chocolate icing or milk chocolate - 1 item
- When cool, make 4 layers, then frost with 12 Minute Icing in between layers and on top and sides
How to make ding dong cake:
Bake the cake in 2 (8-inch) cake pans. When cool, make 4 layers, then frost with 12 Minute Icing in between layers and on top and sides. Beat butter, Crisco and sugar 4 minutes. Add flour mixture to other mixture and add vanilla. Beat 4 minutes, then spread in between layers.
