Ingredients/Components
- water - 5 c
- vinegar - 5 c
- cloves garlic - 8 item
- mustard seed - 4 tsp
- dill seed - 4 tsp
- green beans - 4 lb
- small chilli peppers - 8 item
How to make dilled green beans:
Cut beans into lengths to fill pint jars. Pack beans into hot, scalded jars. Add 1 chilli pepper, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed, 1/2 teaspoon dill seed and 1 clove of garlic to each jar.Combine vinegar and water in enamel or stainless steel pan; heat to boiling. Pour boiling liquid over beans, filling jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Seal and process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes. Yields 8 pints.
