Ingredients/Components
- cloves garlic - 6 item
- pods hot pepper - 6 item
- dill seed - 6 tsp
- green tomatoes, quartered - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 qt
- water - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 c
How to make green tomato pickles:
Place garlic in bottom of each of 6 pint jars; add pepper. Pack tomatoes in jars. Pour 1 teaspoon dill seed in each jar. Boil vinegar, water and salt for 5 minutes. Pour over tomatoes. Seal jars.
