Ingredients/Components
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- dill seed - 2 tsp
- dry onion flakes - 2 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- small container cottage cheese - 1 item
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make dill bread:
In 1/2 cup warm water, dissolve 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast; let set. Mix dry ingredients. Add butter, eggs, cottage cheese and yeast mixture. Mix; let rise until double. Work down (knead a little). Put into 2 bread pans (greased); let rise until doubled. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes. Remove; brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.Recipe categories: Breads, Cheese, Yeast breads.
