Ingredients/Components

  • melted butter - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • beaten eggs - 2 item
  • dill seed - 2 tsp
  • dry onion flakes - 2 tsp
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • small container cottage cheese - 1 item
  • sugar - 4 Tbsp
  • dry yeast - 2 pkg

How to make dill bread:

In 1/2 cup warm water, dissolve 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast; let set. Mix dry ingredients. Add butter, eggs, cottage cheese and yeast mixture. Mix; let rise until double. Work down (knead a little). Put into 2 bread pans (greased); let rise until doubled. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes. Remove; brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
