Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped celery - 1/4 c
  • mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • cracker crumbs - 3/4 c
  • minced onion - 2 Tbsp
  • clam juice - 1/2 c
  • clams - 2 c
  • green pepper optional - 2 Tbsp
  • celery leaves - 2 Tbsp

How to make deviled clams:

Chop clams and simmer in juice 5 minutes. Saute celery leaves, green pepper and onion in butter. Mix remaining ingredients.

Add clams and sauteed mixture. Spoon into clam shells and garnish with a small piece of bacon. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
