Deviled clams
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- mustard - 1/2 tsp
- cracker crumbs - 3/4 c
- minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- clam juice - 1/2 c
- clams - 2 c
- green pepper optional - 2 Tbsp
- celery leaves - 2 Tbsp
How to make deviled clams:
Chop clams and simmer in juice 5 minutes. Saute celery leaves, green pepper and onion in butter. Mix remaining ingredients.Add clams and sauteed mixture. Spoon into clam shells and garnish with a small piece of bacon. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
