Rice and sausage casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- hot water - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cracker crumbs
- minced onion
- green pepper, chopped - 1/4 c
- cooked rice
- sausage - 3/4 lb
- celery leaves, minced - 3 Tbsp
- cooked or canned tomatoes
How to make rice and sausage casserole:
Cut sausage into small pieces. Fry until brown. Add the water. Combine other ingredients, except butter, and stir into the sausage. Grease a casserole dish and turn the mixture into it. Dot with the butter and bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until heated through. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
