  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - 1 tsp
  • sifted flour - 1 c
  • egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
  • head cauliflower - 1 item

How to make deep fried cauliflower:

Combine egg, oil and milk. Add to flour gradually. Add salt. Beat with rotary beater until smooth. Divide cauliflower into flowerets. Cook in salted water until tender. Drain well. Dip flowerets in batter. Fry in 375° deep fat until lightly browned. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
