  • eggs - 3 item
  • flour - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • water - 2 Tbsp
  • almond extract - 1 tsp

How to make danish puff:

Filling:1 c. water1/2 c. butter1 c. flour3 eggs1 tsp. almond extract Crust: Mix as pie crust. Roll to fit a jelly roll pan or into 2 strips 12 x 3-inches. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart.

Boil water and butter, add flour all at once (as in cream puffs). Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and place mixture in mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating hard after each addition. Add extract. Spread on first mixture and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Frost and top with chopped pecans.
