Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- almond extract - 1 tsp
How to make danish puff:
Filling:1 c. water1/2 c. butter1 c. flour3 eggs1 tsp. almond extract Crust: Mix as pie crust. Roll to fit a jelly roll pan or into 2 strips 12 x 3-inches. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart.Boil water and butter, add flour all at once (as in cream puffs). Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and place mixture in mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating hard after each addition. Add extract. Spread on first mixture and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Frost and top with chopped pecans.
