Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- pie shell - 1 item
- ground nutmeg or to taste - 1/2 tsp
How to make custard pie:
Beat eggs until light. Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and milk. Pour in pie shell. Bake in hot oven (450°) for 10 minutes, until custard begins to brown on top, then reduce heat to 325°. Cook until custard is set (about 30 minutes).Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
