Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/3 c
- brown sugar, packed - 3/4 c
- can apricot halves - 1 lb
- can peach halves - 1 lb
- can pear halves - 1 lb
- can bing cherries - 1 item
- curry powder be careful - 3 Tbsp
How to make curried fruit:
Drain fruit. Melt butter; add sugar and curry powder. Put fruit in casserole. Cover with butter mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 1 hour. Check in 15 to 20 minutes. Add almonds or other nuts, if desired.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Tropical fruits.
