Ingredients/Components

  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • melted margarine - 1/2 c
  • light brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • curry powder - 2 tsp
  • can pineapple chunks - 1 oz
  • can apricot halves - 1 oz
  • can peach halves - 1 oz
  • can pear halves - 1 oz
  • banana optional - 1 item

How to make curried fruit:

Drain fruit well and arrange in a 8 x 12 x 2-inch pan or baking dish. Blend sugar, cornstarch, margarine and curry powder together. Pour over fruit. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Serves 8 to 10.
