garlic powder - 1/8 1/4
medium onion, chopped - 1 item
dried basil - 1/2 1
cans diced tomatoes undrained - 2 1/2
cans condensed tomato soup - 2 3/4

How to make creamy tomato soup:

Saut?� onions in butter until tender. Stir in tomatoes, soup, milk, sugar and seasonings. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Serve immediately. Can make ahead, reheat and add cheese just before serving.
