Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • rice - 1/4 c
  • milk, scalded - 4 c

How to make creamy rice pudding:

Wash rice thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients and pour into greased baking dish. Bake in slow oven (325°) 2 hours, stirring several times during baking. The mixture should not boil. Serve hot or cold. Serves 6.

This is the old-fashioned creamy pudding which has such a delicious flavor because of the long slow cooking.
