Creamy rice pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- rice - 1/4 c
- milk, scalded - 4 c
How to make creamy rice pudding:
Wash rice thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients and pour into greased baking dish. Bake in slow oven (325°) 2 hours, stirring several times during baking. The mixture should not boil. Serve hot or cold. Serves 6.This is the old-fashioned creamy pudding which has such a delicious flavor because of the long slow cooking.
