  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 3/4 c
  • evaporated milk - 1/2 c
  • stick butter - 1/2 item
  • pecan halves - 1 2
  • light brown sugar - 3/4 c

How to make creamy pralines:

Cook together sugars and milk, stirring constantly, until firm and soft ball stage. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Add pecans and let cool. Beat and drop on wax paper. Use a candy thermometer for best results.
