Creamy lemon pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- cornstarch
- egg yolks - 3 item
- grated lemon rind - 1 Tbsp
- fresh lemon juice - 1/2 item
- 9-inch pie crust
- Garnish: whipped cream
- lemon drop candies, crushed - 1 item
How to make creamy lemon pie:
Garnish: whipped cream lemon drop candies, crushed In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind, juice and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat and add butter. Cool completely and then add sour cream. Pour in pie crust. Refrigerate.To serve, put a dollop of whipped cream on each piece. Sprinkle crushed lemon drop candy on top.
