Creamy ham and eggs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- all-purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- mustard - 1/2 tsp
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- diced, cooked ham - 1 c
- boiled eggs, quartered - 4 item
- slices bread or buns, toasted - 4 item
How to make creamy ham and eggs:
Melt margarine in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Stir in mustard and pepper. Add ham and eggs. Stir gently. Place toast on individual serving plates.
