Creamed potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/4 lb
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- small onion, diced - 1 item
- medium potatoes, peeled and cubed - 4 item
- celery stalk, diced - 1 item
- grated mild Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- medium carrots, grated - 2 item
- small jar mushrooms bits and pieces - 1 item
How to make creamed potato soup:
Cook first 4 ingredients until tender in 2 cups of water. Add mushrooms, salt and garlic salt. Let simmer 1 minute. Dissolve cornstarch in milk and stir into hot ingredients. Bring to a boil.
