Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- slightly beaten egg yolks - 3 item
- baked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
- flour or 1/4 c - 1/3 c
- stiff beaten egg whites - 3 item
- Mix flour, 1 cup sugar and salt; gradually add milk
How to make cream pie:
Preheat oven at 350°. Mix flour, 1 cup sugar and salt; gradually add milk. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Cook 2 minutes and remove from heat.
