Cream of tomato soup
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- half and half - 1 c
- soda - 1/8 tsp
- heavy cream - 2 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- chicken broth - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can diced tomatoes undrained - 1 oz
- garlic granules - 1/8 tsp
- instant onion flakes - 1 Tbsp
- ground basil leaves - 1 tsp
- 303 can tomato sauce
- 303 can crushed tomatoes
How to make cream of tomato soup:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat thoroughly. Do not boil. Makes about 4 servings. For even better flavor, add some cheese, crumbled up bacon and sauteed onions.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Tomato, Bisques/cream soups.
