Crazy chocolate cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- cold water - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- cocoa - 6 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- nuts - 1 c
- stick margarine or butter - 1 item
- Karo - 1/4 c
- shortening or oil - 3/4 c
- Add vinegar; mix until blended
How to make crazy chocolate cake:
Mix all ingredients together well except vinegar. Add vinegar; mix until blended. Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Bake at 350° until firm. Cool and ice with icing as follows.Fudge Icing:2 c. sugar1/2 c. evaporated milk1/4 c. Karo3 Tbsp. cocoa1 stick margarine or butter1 c. nuts1 tsp. vanilla In a saucepan combine sugar, evaporated milk, Karo and cocoa. Cook to soft ball stage, stirring as needed. Remove from heat.
