Crawfish fettucine
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 pt
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- garlic cloves, minced - 3 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- can cream of shrimp soup - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- flat egg noodles
- whites of 1 bunch green onions
- crawfish tails * - 1 lb
How to make crawfish fettucine:
Cooking Time: Approximately 30 minutes. Temperature: Simmer.Boil noodles until tender; drain and set aside. Saute bell pepper, onions and garlic in butter on low heat until tender. Cut cheese into small pieces and melt in pan over low heat with previous ingredients. Add soup and mix well. Add noodles and half of the half and half cream. Simmer on low for approximately 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining cream prior to serving. Season to taste. One to two teaspoons of liquid crab boil makes a spicy dish! Makes 8 large servings.
*May substitute shrimp.
