Cranberry nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- walnuts, chopped - 3/4 c
- orange juice - 1/3 c
- cranberries, halved - 2 c
How to make cranberry nut bread:
Combine flour and next 4 ingredients together in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together egg, juice, water and melted butter. Make a well in the flour mixture and pour egg mixture into it. Just moisten dry ingredients. Fold in prepared cranberries and walnuts. Pour into loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Quick breads.
