Crab chowder
Ingredients/Components
- paprika - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- half and half or whole milk - 1/2 gal
- several dashes of red pepper - 1 item
- or 5 cubed, cooked potatoes - 4 item
- cubed bacon, cooked crisp - 1 lb
How to make crab chowder:
Lightly cook celery and onion. Add as much crab as you are lucky enough to catch. Heat all ingredients through; cover and let set 15 or 20 minutes. You can use oysters and clams with or in place of crab.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Chowders.
