Ingredients/Components

  • paprika - 1 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • half and half or whole milk - 1/2 gal
  • several dashes of red pepper - 1 item
  • or 5 cubed, cooked potatoes - 4 item
  • cubed bacon, cooked crisp - 1 lb

How to make crab chowder:

Lightly cook celery and onion. Add as much crab as you are lucky enough to catch. Heat all ingredients through; cover and let set 15 or 20 minutes. You can use oysters and clams with or in place of crab.
