Ingredients/Components

  • cold water - 1/4 c
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • plain gelatin - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • diced green pepper - 1/2 c
  • diced pimento - 2 Tbsp
  • prepared mustard - 1 tsp
  • grated onion - 1 Tbsp
  • diced celery - 1 c
  • can corned beef - 1 oz
  • lemon jello
  • salad dressing or mayonnaise - 1/2 3/4
  • diced sweet pickle - 1/2 c
  • small bottle stuffed olives, sliced - 1 item
  • hard-boiled eggs, cut up fine - 3 item
  • cold water or pickle juice - 1/2 c

How to make corned beef salad:

Put gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water. Dissolve jello in 1 cup of boiling water. Put these ingredients plus 1/2 cup cold water or pickle juice, corned beef (broken into several pieces), salad dressing, mustard and Worcestershire sauce into blender. Mix in blender, then add all other ingredients. Pour into rectangular Pyrex dish. Chill overnight in refrigerator. Serves 10.
