Macaroni salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- cold water - 3/4 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1/4 c
- grated onion - 1/2 tsp
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- lemon jello - 1 pkg
- chopped pimiento - 2 Tbsp
- chopped dill pickles - 2 Tbsp
- cooked elbow macaroni - 1 c
How to make macaroni salad:
Combine macaroni, celery, pickles, pimiento, mayonnaise, salt, onion and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Mix well and chill. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add cold water and chill until slightly thickened. Fold in macaroni mixture. Spoon into individual molds. Chill until firm, about 3 hours. Unmold.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Elbow macaroni.
