Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 3/4 tsp
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • 4 oz - 1 lb
  • scalded milk
  • buttered cracker crumbs - 3/4 c

How to make corn scallop:

Melt butter; add flour and dry seasonings. Mix together. Add scalded milk gradually and cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Add corn, egg and Worcestershire sauce. Pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover with crumbs. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until crumbs are brown.
