Corn scallop
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- dry mustard - 3/4 tsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- 4 oz - 1 lb
- scalded milk
- buttered cracker crumbs - 3/4 c
How to make corn scallop:
Melt butter; add flour and dry seasonings. Mix together. Add scalded milk gradually and cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Add corn, egg and Worcestershire sauce. Pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover with crumbs. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until crumbs are brown.Recipe categories: Corn, Main dish, Casseroles.
