Ingredients/Components

- salt - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- can corn - 1 lb
- slices bacon - 6 item
- potatoes, peeled and diced - 1 2
How to make corn chowder:
In large saucepan, fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and reserve grease. Drain corn, reserving liquid. Add reserved liquid to bacon drippings along with potatoes and onion. Cover and simmer until tender. Add corn, soup, milk, salt and pepper; heat thoroughly. Serve. Crumble bacon over chowder in bowls.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Chowders.
