Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 4 c
  • salt
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped onion - 4 Tbsp
  • cayenne pepper to taste - 1 item
  • boiled potatoes - 3 c
  • canned corn, drained - 2 c

How to make corn chowder:

Fry onion in butter until delicately brown. Strain butter into saucepan. Add potatoes, milk, corn, salt, pepper and cayenne. Bring to the boiling point and serve. Good with oyster crackers.
