Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 2 oz
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • oil - 1/4 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
  • chicken broth
  • black pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped green onion - 1/2 c
  • instant nonfat dry milk - 1/4 c
  • 1% milk - 2 c
  • potato cubes - 3 c

How to make corn chowder:

Saute green onion in oil. Add chicken broth, milk and potatoes. Boil; lower heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 12 minutes. Add corn. Cook 1 minute.

Remove 2 cups of chowder and puree in blender. Return to saucepan. Stir in dry milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Makes 8 cups.

Contains 2 grams of fat per serving.
