Corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- diced potatoes - 1 c
- water to cover - 1 item
- diced onion - 1/2 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- bacon, fried crisp - 1/2 lb
- can creamed corn - 1 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
How to make corn chowder:
Boil potatoes. When boiling, add diced onion and celery. Fry bacon, break and set aside. Add corn, milk, flour, salt and pepper. Stir in bacon. Heat well, but do not boil. More milk may be added, if desired.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Chowders.
