Corn and rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 or
- water - 2 c
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- onions, chopped - 1/4 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1/4 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- frozen corn - 1 can
- rice - 1 c
How to make corn and rice casserole:
Cook rice in 2 cups water (Minute rice works well also). Set aside. Cook onions and green peppers in oleo for approximately 2 minutes. Add corn and cook for a few minutes. Melt Velveeta in milk in saucepan. Add rice, salt and pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients together. Put in casserole dish and bake in oven at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Long Grain rice.
