Ingredients/Components
- medium head cabbage, grated or chopped - 1 item
- onions, grated - 1 c
- green pepper, grated - 1 item
- medium carrots, grated - 2 item
- sugar - 1 c
- Add cabbage, onion, carrots and green pepper
- white vinegar - 3/4 c
- salt
- dry mustard
- celery seed
How to make cole slaw:
Shred cabbage. Add cabbage, onion, carrots and green pepper. Mix and sprinkle sugar on top.Dressing:3/4 c. salad oil3/4 c. white vinegar2 Tbsp. sugar1 1/2 tsp. salt1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard1 1/2 tsp. celery seed Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, dry mustard and celery seed. Heat until comes to a boil. Cover vegetables. Cover bowl and refrigerate six hours before serving. Will stay delicious for nearly a week.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
