Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- milk plus 1 Tbsp - 1 c
How to make cold oven cake:
Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Fold in vanilla, lemon extract and milk.
