Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • sticks margarine - 3 item
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • frozen coconut - 1 pkg

How to make coconut pound cake:

Cream the margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with sour cream. Add vanilla flavoring. Fold in thawed coconut. Bake in well-greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 325°.
