Coconut-pecan frosting
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- evaporated milk - 2 c
- coconut
- margarine - 1 c
- slightly beaten egg yolks - 6 item
- walnut or pecans, chopped fine - 2 c
How to make coconut-pecan frosting:
Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine and vanilla in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in coconut and chopped nuts. Cool until thick enough to spread.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
