Classic pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
- pecans
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- Karo light syrup - 1 c
How to make classic pecan pie:
In large bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in nuts. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 350° oven for 50 to 55 minutes (or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean). Cool. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
