Classic pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pecans
- margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- Karo syrup - 1 c
- unbaked 9-inch pie crust - 1 item
How to make classic pecan pie:
In large bowl, mix first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool. Serves 8.If pie crust is frozen, preheat oven and cookie sheet. Pour filling into frozen crust and bake on cookie sheet in lower oven.
