Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 2
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans cream of potato soup - 2 item
- garlic, minced - 1 Tbsp
- can clams, undrained - 1 1/2
- slices bacon, chopped and partially cooked - 4 item
How to make clam chowder:
Saute onion, garlic and margarine. Add broth and next 3 ingredients; stir well. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Add bacon. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add half and half. Cook until thoroughly heated.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
