Ingredients/Components

  • half and half - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1 2
  • cans chicken broth - 2 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • cans cream of potato soup - 2 item
  • garlic, minced - 1 Tbsp
  • can clams, undrained - 1 1/2
  • slices bacon, chopped and partially cooked - 4 item

How to make clam chowder:

Saute onion, garlic and margarine. Add broth and next 3 ingredients; stir well. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Add bacon. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add half and half. Cook until thoroughly heated.
