Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- American cheese, cubed - 8 oz
- uncooked macaroni 2 c - 8 oz
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Preheat oven to 375°. Butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cook macaroni as directed on package; drain. Prepare Cream Sauce. Stir in cheese, heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted.Layer macaroni and cheese sauce in casserole. Bake, uncovered, until golden brown, about 35 minutes.
