Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1 qt
- butter or margarine - 3/4 c
- salt
- flour - 3/4 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped potatoes - 2 c
- finely chopped celery - 1 c
How to make clam chowder:
Drain juice from clams. Pour over vegetables in saucepan. Add enough water to barely cover and simmer until potatoes are done. In another saucepan, add flour to melted butter. Cook a minute or so. Add milk and stir until thick and smooth. Add undRecipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
