Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 to
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 6 Tbsp
- raisins - 1 item
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Combine 1 1/2 cups flour and yeast. Heat milk, sugar and butter until melted (warm not hot). Add milk mixture to flour and eggs. Beat with electric mixer 30 seconds; scrape sides, then high speed 3 minutes. Add remaining flour (soft dough). Knead on floured board until smooth, 3 to 5 minutes. Put in lightly greased bowl. Cover; let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Shape to form 2 balls. Cover; rest 10 minutes.On floured board roll 1/2 dough to 10 x 12 inches and spread with 3 tablespoons butter (softened), raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll from short side; seal. Cut 10 or more slices. Place on greased pan. Do same with second ball. Cover; let rise. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes until light brown. Cool. Drizzle icing (powdered sugar and water).
