Cinnamon apple crisp
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
- oleo, melted - 1/2 c
- white cake mix - 1 pkg
- medium apples, thinly sliced - 6 item
- Cool Whip or ice cream optional - 1 item
How to make cinnamon apple crisp:
Preheat oven to 350°. Arrange apple slices in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour water over top.Combine cake mix, brown sugar, melted oleo and cinnamon. Stir thoroughly until blended. Mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle crumbs over apples. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until lightly browned and bubbly.
Serve warm or cooled, with Cool Whip or ice cream.
