  • boiling water - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 item
  • white syrup
  • white sugar
  • coloring - 1 item
  • gram anise or 1/2 gram other oil flavor - 1 item

How to make christmas hard candy:

Boil first 3 ingredients until 300°. Add color and flavor. Pour on cookie sheet trays of powdered sugar and cut into pieces. I broke mine.

More Ideas: peppermint, black walnut, cloves, cinnamon. Purchase oils at drugstores.
