Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- water - 1 c
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- food coloring optional - 1 item
- any desired flavoring - 1 item
How to make christmas hard candy:
Mix sugar, syrup and water in saucepan. Cover and heat to boiling. Uncover and cook to 285°. Add flavoring and color, if desired. Pour into greased pan. When hard, turn out of pan and cut into bite-size pieces.Recipe categories: Desserts, Candy, Christmas.
