Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- nutmeg - 1 item
- egg yolks - 6 item
- egg whites - 6 item
- light cream - 1 pt
- flavoring - 1 item
- rich milk - 1 pt
How to make christmas eggnog:
Beat egg whites until foamy and stiff and gradually beat in 1/2 cup of the sugar. Beat egg yolks until thick and beat in remaining sugar, cream and milk. Add flavoring (vanilla to taste or 1 cup of sherry). Lastly, fold in egg white mixture and serve in a punch bowl with nutmeg sprinkled over the top.Recipe categories: Egg, Drinks, Cocktails.
