Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- butter - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 6 item
- soda - 2 tsp
- egg whites - 6 item
- sifted plain flour - 4 c
- blackberry jam - 2 c
How to make jam cake:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well. Stir in jam, add flour which has been sifted with spices, alternately with sour cream and ending with flour. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in fourRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Grains.
