  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • egg yolks - 6 item
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • egg whites - 6 item
  • sifted plain flour - 4 c
  • blackberry jam - 2 c

How to make jam cake:

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well. Stir in jam, add flour which has been sifted with spices, alternately with sour cream and ending with flour. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in four
