Ingredients/Components
- milk - 4 c
- eggs, beaten - 8 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- slices white bread - 8 item
- bacon, crisp and crumbled - 1 lb
How to make christmas morning eggs:
Remove crust from bread. Cut bread into cubes. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan. Combine eggs and milk in a large bowl. Mix well. Pour over bread. Sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Heat oven to 350°. Sprinkle with bacon. Bake for 1 hour. Serve immediately.Recipe categories: Egg, Breakfast, Cheese.
