Chow mein casserole
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- can chow mein noodles - 1 item
- soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion, diced - 1 item
- celery, diced
- rice uncooked - 1/2 c
How to make chow mein casserole:
Brown meat lightly and drain off excess fat. Add celery and onion; continue cooking until slightly transparent. Add the rest of the ingredients, except noodles, and place in a baking dish. Bake, uncovered at 350° for 1/2 hour. Reduce heat to 300°. Cover with noodles and bake 1/2 hour longer.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
