- sugar - 2 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- carrots
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- celery
- corn - 1 c
- turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- cauliflower
- kidney beans
- green beans - 2 c
- lima beans - 1 c
- yellow beans
How to make chow chow:
Chop and steam all vegetables until just tender. Boil last 5 ingredients for 5 minutes. Add hot vegetables to hot juice and let stand about 12 hours. Makes about 3 quarts.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Vegetables, North american.
